Description	[4] p. ; 50 cm. Issued as no. 2690 of The Pennsylvania Packet, and Daily Advertiser, Wednesday, September 19, 1787. The first authorized publication of the Constitution of the United States, printed by John Dunlap and David C. Claypoole, the official printers of the Constitutional Convention and the printers of the two "draft" or "transcript" editions for delegates' use only that preceeded the present printing. The whole of this extra of The Pennsylvania Packet is given to the text of the document produced by such men as Madison, Morris, Franklin, Sherman, and Washington, during the Convention that sat in Philadelphia from May 25 to September 17. The Pennsylvania Packet, and Daily Advertiser, was the first daily newspaper published in America.
