Description	A seventy-four-page scrapbook of photographs taken by Frank S. Matsura. The arrangement of the photographs reflects the layout of the original scrapbook. The images capture the rapid growth of Okanogan: a town incorporated in 1907 that grew to a city of some eight hundred by the time of Matsura's death in June, 1913. Matsura took an active part in the activities around Okanogan. He photographed fruit displays for County Fairs, community dances, marching band performances, the construction of the new city buildings, and especially, the Conconully Dam and the High Steel Bridge. The scrapbook also includes portraits of the children, families, friends, and couples who helped build the community.
