| Description | 92 minute oral history interview conducted with former Washington State University interim President Dr. Wallis Beasley. He talks about his education and teaching positions before to WSU. He also speaks about how he moved up in positions so fast, the faculty in sociology, his move to administration from teaching, and his position under Dr. Terrell. Beasley also talks about the social issues that came about while in the administrations such as black students and the Kent State University shooting. Finally he talks about diversity on campus, public relations, women's issues, his participation in a number of committees, and finally his life after WSU. |
