Description	Catherine May writes a lengthy letter expressing her shock and dismay over the Atomic Energy Commission's failure to name Hanford as a viable set for a high speed accelerator. May lists the reasons why Hanford would be a better fit for the project than other selected sites. She alleges that the AEC denied selection to Hanford because it was deemed an undesirable are to live. Throughout her career May fought against the Atomic Energy Commission for the best interests of Hanford residents.
