Description	In this series of correspondence, constituent Irma Hull writes to Catherine May on behalf of her daughter, who she believes was given poor treatment at the Larson Air Force Base. Hull alleges that her daughter, once stricken with a "female infection" was given unnecessary drugs, and left untreated, despite the great risk to her reproductive health. Hull elicits May's help, who attempts to intercede on the patients’ behalf. Lieutenant Colonel John R. Troxell responds to the complaint denying improper treatment of Hull's daughter, and recollection of any additional communication following the initial prescription. Troxell purports the accomplishments of hospital staff in the face of adversity (despite what may seem like substantial staffing and new equipment as alleged by Hull). This is a good example of May's tireless efforts to intercede on behalf of her constituents, regardless of how menial the problem may be in comparison to legislative issues. May was also particularly sensitive to matters of women’s health for obvious reasons.
