Description	Sam Nicholls, constituent and President of the United Mine Workers of America, writes to Catherine May in protest of the Hanford NPR reactors project. Nicholls expresses his concerns that the project will hurt the coal mining industry. May responds respectfully reasserting her support for the Hanford NPR reactor, and states that the Pacific Northwest will benefit from numerous power sources in addition to coal as a matter of national security. She states, "The coal industry is biting the hand that feeds it."
