Description	Catherine May writes to Gerald Ford regarding his appointment of another congressperson to a position she desired on the Joint Committee on Atomic Energy. Along with her letter she includes a suggested copy of a regret letter Ford could send her on his own stationary. Ford obliges with minimal changes to her original suggestions. She sends this official copy to the publisher of the Tri-City Herald Glenn C. Lee, along with an explanation as to why she thinks she was passed over for the position. In conclusion she says, "...I'm beginning to think that 'somebody up there' doesn't like us!"
