Title	Association for Women Students Tags for the Women's Building Fund, ca. 1932

Description	These tags, one titled "Brick by Brick Will do the Trick" and one titled, "AWS cornerstone 1932" were sold by the Association of Women Students to support the Women's Building. This building, which is now Smith Gym, was desperately needed for Women's Physical Education and various other activities. These tags exemplify the effort female students put forth in securing this building. Plans for the building began in 1928, but the actual structure was not finished until 1938, much to the frustration of female students and educators. These items were found in the Association of Women Students' scrapbook.
