Description	Rose Creek Nature Preserve (RCNP), located only 7.5 miles northwest of Pullman, Washington, near Albion, is a 12-acre reserve owned by The Nature Conservancy. It was set aside because it contains a fine example of riparian forest vegetation that has become rare in eastern Washington. In addition, the adjoining hillside supports a remnant of native meadow steppe, or "Palouse prairie" vegetation, and the area between the riparian forest and the road contains a seasonally wet meadow.
