Description
Seen here are the cement storage and blending tanks for use in constructing the Grand Coulee Dam. During 1936 the Mason-Walsh-Atkinson-Kier Co. produced a contemporary record amount of concrete, 1,846,481 cubic yards out of 3,415,465 tons of processed sand and gravel combined with 1,934,330 barrels of cement.(Banks, History vol. 4, 302)
