Description	An interior view of the living room of Stimson Hall, WSU building #35. Wooden Doric columns and exposed beams are visible, as is a grand piano, stuffed chairs, chandeliers, and a tile fireplace. In the center of the room is a wooden table with four benches and a vase of flowers. Designed by Rudolph Weaver in 1923, Stimson Hall is the oldest extant men's dormitory on campus. Named for Regent Fred S. Stimson, the dormitory is a mixture of the Colonial and Renaissance Revival Styles. Closed in 1983 for renovation, plans to convert the building to office space were disbanded.
