Title	Coulee dam, Payroll will change little
Description	Coulee dam, Payroll will change little. - More common labor to be used if Coulee high dam built. - Although more men will probably be employed on the project once work on the foundation for the high dam is under way, the payrolls will probably remain about the same, it is believed. Work on the cofferdam was rushed to complete the structure before high water threatened it, and a great number of men were employed. A large percentage of them were specialized and trained, and drew from 90 cents to $1.20 an hour and up. However, it is the belief of some officials here that when concrete pouring starts, there will be a larger percentage of common labor than before, with the weekly payroll remaining approximately the same.
