Denmark

crossed
the
Atlantic
at the
age
of
11
in a
sailboat
that had been
used
in the
war
between
Denmark
and
Norway
. At the
age
of
15
she
married
George
W
.
Sizemore
. They
crossed
the
plains
to
Walla
Walla
,
Wash.
, in a
covered
wagon
in
1881
. They
took
six
weeks
to
cross
. They
went
to
Stevens
county
in
1888
and to them
14
children
were
born
,
eight
boys
and
six
girls
,
all
of
whom
grew
to
manhood
and
womanhood
.
Mr
.
Sizemore
died
11
years
ago
and
since
then
Mrs
.
Sizemore
has
lived
with her
son
,
Fred
Sizemore
, at
Colville
.
Mrs

Sizemore
has

grandchildren
,
great-grandchildren
and
great-great-grandchildren
. With her in the
