Description	Withdraw wage offer to bakers - masters say union must make next peace plan - Due to the refusal yesterday of the journeymen bakers' union to consider the counter proposal of the master bakers agreeing to a continuance of the 1927 wage scale and working conditions, the master bakers last night said they had nothing further to offer. In so far as the master bakers are concerned, negotiations with the union as to a new wage scale are at an end, it was stated at the close of an open meeting in the assembly room of the Associated Industries attended by shop owners employing more than 60 per cent of the union journeymen.
