Description	Strike in the Black Pine - claim gold value in ore more than $2000 a ton - Two feet of ore that glitters with gold were struck yesterday in the Black Pine mine, a mile east of this place. Tests by W. C. McNutt showed values of $1.12 to $1.27 to the pound, or more than $2000 to the ton. The shoot is part of a body that has been drifted on 120 feet at the 280-foot depth. The mine has been the mecca since the strike for scores of miners.
